Located in Belfast the expectation of this role as per business requirements is to come to the office on a regular basis with flexibility to work from home. Office is located at 205 Airport Rd West, Belfast BT3 9ED.

About this role

This role will be responsible for the provision of Business Consultancy and Analysis Services to our client base.

This includes analysis of client requirements and the translation of these into functional specifications for the customer and design specifications for the software development team.

Provide support to project development teams, our internal test team and the client, managing their expectations during all stages of the project lifecycle.

We develop innovative case and document management platforms that support organisations on their journey to digital excellence in the UK and Ireland for private and public sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Your will be assigned specific responsibilities typically including, but not limited to:

• Extraction of client requirements via workshops, interviews, and other methods
• Analysis and documentation of client requirements
• Production of Functional Specifications and Design documents
• Resolution of client issues and queries, working at both process and technical levels suggesting relevant approaches
• Assist Project Manager/Team Leader with estimation, creation, and allocation of development work packages using Microsoft DevOps
• Assist the development team in understanding client requirements both functional and non-functional
• Support the development team in delivery with key business ownership on SCRUM ceremonies like laybacks and showcases
• Assist the QA team in the production and verification of Test Scripts executed as part of ongoing development sprints
• Work closely with the client, managing their expectations during each stage of the project life cycle
• Assist with pre-sales activities, including tender response preparation and client presentations

Skills, Knowledge & Experience 

Essential

Desirable

• Degree or equivalent qualification in an IT related discipline
• BCS (ISEB) certification
