NISRA the Northen Ireland Statistics Research Agency upgraded its census survey system by implementing ITS’s CUBE Portal system. The new solution integrates with existing enterprise systems and incorporates advanced data validation techniques, ensuring accessibility, and enhancing accuracy to achieve superior data collection quality.

ITS delivered a comprehensive EDRM solution for the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, transitioning from HP TRIM to SharePoint, enhancing records management, ensuring compliance, and fostering a strategic approach to digital content management across the organisation.

ITS developed a customised complaint management system for the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland, enhancing efficiency in handling complaints against police, fostering transparency, accountability, and public trust through independent investigations and comprehensive reporting.

History Timeline

Since its inception in 1969, ITS has evolved from a pioneering startup into a renowned specialist in digital transformation solutions, continuously adapting and growing to meet the ever-changing demands of the digital era.

1966

ITS Formation

ITS (formerly Independent Computer Services) formed following the acquisition of Harland & Wolff Shipyard’s IT department in Belfast.

1970

Irish Expansion

ITS opens offices in Dublin and Cork

1979

Software Ireland - USA Expansion

ITS forms Software Ireland, a spin-off business marketing products and services in the USA.

1982

CMI Formed

ITS forms Computer Maintenance Ireland (CMI), a spin-off business providing hardware and maintenance services throughout Ireland

1987

Accounting Software Business Launched

ITS launches its accounting software business - its flagship product DTX, goes on to become one of the most popular accounting packages in Ireland.

1988

Payroll Supplier of the Year

ITS wins the prestigious UK Payroll Supplier of the Year.

1993

Public Sector Software Business Launched

ITS launches its public sector offering, with a focus on providing case management solutions to government

2005

ICS India formed

An off-shore software development company which goes on to employ over 1,000 staff.
